Hatsan95, quick 10m/30yard on irons

Nothing fancy just wanted to post something.. , Took the hatsan 95 out for a picture of somthing so i figured id shoot it.

Open sight (stock irons), cphp.22, 10m and 30 yards
Can i shank them or what? Oh well.. better luck next time

I tuned about a dozen Hatsan 95's, they can be made to shoot pretty nicely and they look beautiful if you get a fancy, Turkish Walnut stock.

Its not bad .. this ones vortex ram qe.
I got it 2ed hand. Hatsan put a nick or 2 on the seal so i buffed them out and relubed with kroytox. . not bad for under $200 and would make a great youth rifle . Kinda awkward feeling to me but i make do.. does better then i expected of her... Shoots stright is all i can ask of one...lol

Ol' hatsan95... On irons even at 50y a squirrel can't feel safe ..lol. She'll lay em out. (Cphp.22)

My Hatsan 95 Carbine. I have made many into carbines. Short, and handy. Less hold sensitive. Very accurate. Very enjoyable to tune and customize.

Nicer wood then mine i think.. i dont have that mod95 sas inlay as yours .

You must have a older model where corners were not cut..lol.. looks good

I'd be happy to shoot those groups at 30 yards.

What do you do about the choke when you cut these down? Is there a thread on that?

The barrel is not choked. Not certain it ever was. After the chop and a superior crown added the accuracy improved. A Hatsan crown is pitiful at best. The muzzle brake is only a cocking handle.

One thing i did was bevel the sharp stright cut leade hole

Made loading pellets easier and dont damage the pellets head .. used a #2 pencil eraser like a hand valve lapper . All my hatsans got that bevel now..

Did you put valve grinding compound on it?

I don’t shoot that good with a scope.
As always your shooting shames me.
But seeing your groups always inspires me to try harder!
I finally found a good pellet for my Crosman Summit Ranger today and hopefully I’ll get some pictures of groups to post tomorrow.
