Anyone have any data on accuracy/consistency? People say they fly like Jsb's and with the price might be worth a shot (literally) About $5.00 cheaper then competitor's.
Field Supply currently has them on sale for $10.50 a tin.
They shoot well out of my .30’s.
Hopefully Chuck can chime in, as he had done a side by side comparison under a light and magnified, and he shared a pic with me but I lost it. There are notable differences between the JSB and Vortex 44.75 grainers. The Vortex was a touch longer in length, the outer skirt was a lot cleaner on the edge on the Vortex, and it seemed the profile of the Vortex was also more well defined/crisp.
If midway has had them for less than $10 thats a big WOW and I’m wondering why no one has ever announced that sale here on the forums, like we all do when field supply does! Someone is holding out, lol!
My thinking is if more folks know about these sales and buy from these vendors in bulk, they’ll keep having these sales, don’t you think?
Like I've said, I've had good luck ordering form FS. Just maybe to ease your mind and to show you how I received my order today here's a couple of photos. All the tins were in great shape. Maybe not as good as PA but for the discounted price it'll work.
