Hatsan Hatsan Velox not holding air

I received my Velox today, first thing I notice, the deposit that comes with has bad mecanization and treads excentric, so it's difficult to put and extract, but it should work anyway... (the other is fine)

Well... try to fill it with handpump, thing lose aire like crazy, retract the bolt, try again... same result. Maybe it's because there is no air at all and I must pump faster, but no...

I connect it to pcp compresor, change to the other deposit and it lose air to the point that the indicator never leaves the 0 and its very audible the hissing on the connection between the deposit and the gun's plenum.

Examining the thing, I think it should be a O-ring or something on the end treads of the deposits, but there is nothing, is like if the aire just pass trough the treads to outside without even moving the deposit valve.

I e-mailed for a return + refund, pistol is defective.

Just for curiosity, there is O-rings inside the deposit treads of your Velox guns? by design, either the treads of mine are loosen or something caused by the misalignment of one of the deposits, or there is O-ring missings in both deposits.

So you're trying to fill this gun cocked, correct?

Nup.

Unfamiliar with an airgun part called "deposit." Amazon ad shows Hatsan Velox with factory installed male foster fitting, does your Velox use a fill probe instead? WM

Mine got the male foster too, the air escapes from the treads of the DEPOSIT, also known as air tank.

Ok I spotted the problem, Hatsan in his glory have packed the gun with the gauge indicator poorly screwed... I just had to screw it with pliers and now everything's ok...

Yet the overall care and build of the gun is pretty meh... I already asked tu return it, so I don't know if I will keep it or not, I already test print some tolerance stuff to design a silencer and a custom mag, as I'm more interested in the technical part of airguns to play and mess around with mechanical aspect of it, if I keep it I may also design a new fooldable grip system to make the thing the most compact possible.

My 3d loading gate for the huben get many downloads, but my complete redesign of the grips + power tune and indicator on the go have received almost no love... maybe because nobody have the V1 version and I can't adapt it to V3 without a physical gun to check tolerances.

Will you, Velox owners pay 1 buck for download and print any of those 3 things?

-A 3d silencer for the gun. I know it's a standard 1/2 UNF... but mine will make use of the wider diamether without obsctructing ironsights, so more silent bark.

-A custom made mag that protude less and hold more rounds. Always hated the rotary mags...

-A complete grips redesign to make the Velox a foldable thing. Little more convenient for backpack and totally futuristic, yet I don't think I can reduce much the length.
