Hi all.
Wanted to start a thread with info on the Velox as did not see too much, and what was is scattered somewhat.
Some of you have done full teardowns, mods and tweaking and would be great to represent it here to help others, myself included.
I made a new 3d printable stock "Velocity" that has a steel pined reenforced rear cleat. and AR Mil Spec grip..
It allows one to swap it out for collapsible buffer tube , rail or other mounts. Ill post a link later in thread.
Making a list of useful info below, will try to keep it updated as people add to this or qet questions resolved...
You can only get the hammer out if you remove the trigger. Trigger needs to be removed by tapping out the two pin on it's side. Trigger group comes out well intact and stays together. Can get in and clean re-grease/smooth things out if needed easily enough.
Hatsan usa has the exploded diagram on the site. You can look up some of the lower numbered parts online and find descriptions on some of the sites from .pl It lets you get a few O-ring sizes and description of what they are or at least referred to.
You can tunne the hammer spring once the stock is removed. There is a small set screw on the right side that needs be backed out some to free the spring adjuster. This can be adjusted without removing the end cap. An allen wrench can fit on the small hole and reach the set screw. Backing it out TIGHTENS the spring. Do so in SMALL turns IF you feel you need to.
Be careful what you tweak. Take pictures of what you pull apart or count the threads/turns when adjusting rates, positions, etc. These are very picky and small differences can make or break things.
Cheers,
