Anyone got a Hatsan Nova Star yet? It looks like .22 would be the caliber to get if your looking for power. I would love to hear about this gun.

There are a few article on the Nova Star at the "other site" you subscribe to.
Feedback is it's a beautiful looking gun, shoots well but it does need some TLC to get it to shooting as good as it looks.
Love to have one but at the current price of "pay to play" I think there are better options out there especially in used FX's.

I am also interested in looking at this rifle but in .177 and seeing how accurate and consistent it is at 55 yards. The interesting thing is how accurate almost all PCPs have gotten. You buy one rifle, learn to use it and generally you will find a good level of performance.

Awesome! I just looked at these posts. Thanks!!! I was leaning toward a .22. .. but I’m also having a little trouble dropping $900 on one. I almost got one for around $700 but I missed the PY Air Sale by one day. It would be fun to accurize one.

Butch, what speed are you running the JSB 25's. I am running the 18's at about 915fps and that seems to give best performance. Unfortunately 25g not sold here in Turkey but I managed to get a couple of tins from Holland to try out so info will reduce my set up time. Thanks

Paul I am running the 25s at 893 FPS averaged over 60 shot. My average for the 18s over the same 60 shots from a 250 bar fill is 1008 FPS. I have turned the 25s up to 990 FPS but we’re not as accurate. And yes 55 FPE at 990 FPS. If you turn your hammer up to put the about 900 FPS with the 25s I think you will like it.

Thanks for the info Butch. I have a big comp in about 3:weeks so will have a play after that. This gives me a good starting point. Because of where I live and who I know I got Hatsan to put a LW barrel on my Nova Star so results might be a little different.
In Turkey, Hatsan are the importers of JSB pellets so I intend to have another go at them about bringing in the Redesigned.

I dont have chrony to workout fps from 200 bars to 100. But i used manual method using strelok. Mine nova star .22 shoots jsb 18.13 @ 950 fps and near 100 bars it is 920 fps. Avg is 935 fps. Does Anyone know 
figures from 220 to 100 bars.
