Hatsan nova 25 cal - 55 FPE

Here are a couple of 35 yard targets shot with my tuned and modified Hatsan Nova. I originally had it tuned shooting MKIIs at 880 fps for over 60 shots, but for some reason I was getting 2 - 3 pellets that spiraled out of 10. I turned it down to 840ish fps and now it's spot on. It's 35 yards but I shoot standing from a Magnum Fieldpod. The first target is 3 shots. I stopped because I thought I would throw a shot and mess up the group. The other two are 10 shots.

Hey Norman,

I can't get over how good it looks? They don't usually come with the carbon fiber bottle do they? You keep a fine harem of guns my man!

I sent my .22 Cricket pup off for a power tune. Should come back shooting the redesigned monsters at 45 to 48 FPE.

She was a laser with the 18.1 gr before I sent her off! I'm hoping it will be enough power to keep me from buying another .25 cal?? Haha, yeah right!

Peace and Hatsan Grease

Fuss

I did the cosmetic stuff but Donny (Rallyshark) one of my shooting buddies modified the valve and installed a PEEK valve seat. He tested it just to see what it was capable of and it shot the Eujins 43 gr pellets for 87 FPE for 20 shots with a 20 fps ES. I didn't need that kind of power, but the mod also makes it more efficient with air usage.

Man, that's awesome. 87 FPE in a .25. Yeah, I don't need that kind of power either. 45 FPE probably more than I would ever need.

I'm getting a little better at my 50 yd shooting and figure these heavier pellets might make me look a little better????? LOL

Doubt I will shoot much past 60 yds but you never know.

Anyway, you've got the cosmetic skills down pat!

I really only shoot paper in the backyard. When I go out to the place I shoot long distance, normally the closet we shoot is about 80 yards. We shoot small objects instead of paper.

It might be a little too heavy to carry a long way. It's very stable. But you can attach straps and carry it slung over your shoulder with the legs retracted. I actually got it so I didn't have to take a table and chair out to the place i shoot at. When I got mines it was $140 but it seems that they are crazy high on Amazon now. I got from Sportsman Guild so check with them for sales. The production video says it weighs 13 lbs

I got it off Aliexpress. They have different sellers so if you shop for one check different ads because the prices and shipping varies. I've ordered several and I made a mistake with this one. I meant to order the black bottle which was pictured, but there was a section to choose grey or black. I have aCF bottle and short barrel on my 22 Nova also. I did have to use a dremel to make the bottle fit, but nothing extreme.
