Yesterday was a bit of a small early xmas. When 3 awesome thing turn up at the same time... And being awesome for different reasons... It's a good day
I believe reputation is everything. So I like to share both bad and good experiences I have.
I've got to give props to Hatsan for their quick support interactions and quick shipment of replacement parts. But even better, the fact that they make improved parts when need be to remedy ones that aren't up to snuff. I received a new valve housing for my Nova Star yesterday. The old one was brass. I managed to break it for the reason that it is the only thing that holds the front and back half of the gun together. To my surprise, and joy, the replacement part that showed up is made of steel. Awesome.
That alone made my day.
Next up, Nikon with some excellent customer service as well. This is not on an airgun, but being an optic company, I think it is relevant. It was simply a matter of someone removing my turret caps, and putting my gun away for me. The caps never found again. I looked high and low, and could not find any to replace them. But Nikon was very kind, and sent them to me at zero charge what-so-ever. I've always loved their scopes for being simple, affordable, clear, and rugged. And now I can add their customer service to that list.
Lastly, nothing too special, but was still excited to finally receive a 500mm superior liner for my .22 Crown Continuum from UA. They've been out of stock for some time everywhere. I was honestly afraid it'd be till spring that they came through. I had pre-ordered some time back with PA, but checked UA on a whim. I knew all dealers should have received a shipment of them. But for some reason PA either did not, or was so back ordered, mine never got sent. Anyhow, thanks UA! I'll be tuning this short-ish barrel to shoot lightweight slugs
