Hatsan neutron star. 22 or benjamin Kratos. 22

DO NOT get a neutron star. I have one, and I'd have a hard time asking someone to pay more than $300 for it. It is that poorly built, finished, and constructed. Performance in multiple aspects is lackluster. Seriously pass on this gun. I have been hearing great things about the cratos, and the overall design/construction looks to be far superior to the neutron star I have. Mine has been gone over and is vastly improved, but it still really is incredibly subpar for its price point.

Go with the Kratos, best bang for your buck. At low power setting it's backyard friendly sound wise. If you choose to get a suppressor for it you won't have to get an adapter if you don't want to. Simply remove the shroud and screw the suppressor directly to the actual barrel, it's already threaded for one. On low setting you will/can get aprox 150 close range target shots, on high power setting (with slugs-yes it shoots slugs just fine) you will get aprox 80 decent distance shots. check out demo videos from "airgun detectives" on you tube.

After looking at the two guns, and reviews from others that own them, I went with the Benjamin Cayden. over all I think that it will fit my needs. I was looking at the neutron star, and almost bought it, but the hit or miss machining, and owners negative reports, of problems I declined. There is also the warranty difference.. 1yr hatsan 5 yr benji.. The Kratos seems to be well built, and owners are reporting good results in both .22 & .25. So, I started looking at other guns and I must say , it wasn't easy ! I really had to keep on track with the budget, and not get carried away . In the end, I choose the Cayden because , of the performance , appearance , threaded barrel, foster fitting fill source, location of manometer gauge , barrel band, and the 5 year warranty. Thanks to all ,for your help and input .
