Well... Got the Hatsan... cleaned up the factory gunk inside and out along with making sure the barrel was nice and shiny. Placed a pellet in the breach end squeezed the trigger and pfruuump... the gun made a weird noise and shook for a second. Well that was weird. Broke open the barrel and there sat the pellet still in the breach end just like it was when i first loaded it. Took a cleaning rod and gently ejected the pellet and found ZERO defects. I then placed the pellet into an old Benjamin I have and smack... hit target center just as always. Tried 4 more pellets various brands and all had same result. I can cock this thing with two fingers so I am guessing piston failure. Called Midway and they are no help. Fill out the return form on the website and depending on your bank you should have your money back in 30 days. Told them i dont trust Hatsan and think I will try an rws 34 instead. They were out of stock and won't guarantee me the sale price once i get my refund. I shipped the POS back today and well see how long it takes to get a refund. Hatsan..., Midway... never again I have bought many, many parts from Midway over the past years. Hatsan and Midway both lost a customer over this. As an instructor... my students always ask me for advice good or bad.
