Hatsan Invader .22 on the way. Thoughts?

That was a pretty good deal $499 from Field Supply with free shipping.

Hatsans aren't known for reliable semi auto airguns.

Hopefully they greatly improved on it and have a return friendly situation just in case.

I would shoot the hell out of it while within its return period.

Had the question been asked prior to purchase I would have stated a warning.

I personally like the cheap Hatsan guns. I just wouldn't buy any more of their semi autos. Gets rather frustrating when they simply won't cycle at any given moment just like the old FX Semiautos after a certain amount of shots fired through them. Some have better luck than the majority of others.

It is good to be one of the few the proud and the brave.

Well, I'm fine with a .22. I don't mind a .25 or .30 IF, cycling is improved with caliber/size increase.

I'm hoping this Invader cycles, & is so called back yard friendly. I don't enjoy shooting a loud obnoxious airgun.

If it's a lemon, it will be going back to PA immediately for a BullMaster, AA TX200HC, new SCBA, or night vision so I can start hunting the field rats around here. I had to buy something to stimulate the herd & rotate stock. I haven't been shooting at all.

Ive been looking at the Invader recently. Not a ton of information out on it from what I can find.

It seems it was released a while back. Then pulled? now its back again. Perhaps it was to fix an issue, or perhaps it was just covid-19 manufacturing issues.

I love the semi-auto function. But have noticed most gun out there down offer it/bother with it. Considering it would be a great selling point if implemented, I cant only imagine its a difficult thing to actually implement correctly hence why most dont bother?

I'm simply speculating here. I dont know jack poop about the air gun industry yet. im still not sure how to safely clean my barrel lol.
