Hatsan Gladius Bullpup...

This is going to be a huge fail for Hatsan if they don't lower the price down drastically. On top of that, I own a first gen AT44 and from looking at this bullpup it seems they have gone down in quality a lot. Kinda expected, fame usually brings the price up and the quality down.

It's priced at $899. Look like Hatsan not selling the regulated version in the US. But with their removable air cylinders it's easy to drop in a third party regulator.

My take,
It has some neat features, but for me quite ugly. Due to the design it looks like a sand bag gun only, and a standard bench rest (front and back) won't work? Loading the clip into the gun looked awkard but no worse than my Cricket. I might have missed something in the video but it looks like the clip doesn't hold too many pellets. From the sound in the video, it sounded like this gun has some serious ping when shooting?

900$ for such a heavy, poorly finished plinker sounds a bit over the top to me. Unless it handles very well shouldered and its grouping is impressive.
I loved the idea of integrated adjustable cheek rest though.

I have a Hatsan AT-44 10 QE Tactical in .22 i love that thing......
but I will pass on the Gladius offering from Hatsan, for the Brocock
Compatto for now. The Brocock comes standard with Walther
Lother barrel, regulator, power adjuster. It's about 4 lbs lighter than
the Gladius also. The .22 Brocock Compatto on high power it's making the same energy as
the short barrel version of the .22 Gladius 30-31. The Compatto will
be priced around $862.00 US
