Hatsan Flashpup .22 Huma regulator

I would like to know if it is money well invested to put a Huma regulator according to your experiences and how you have it configured. On the Huma website I have not seen the pressure at which they recommend installing it.

I have the Flashpup in .25, both the wood and S version. I recommend the wood because it is more stable. The cylinder-scope rail setup in my S started moving and the POI shifted inexplicably. Anyhow, I regulated both guns and would not want to do without the resulting perfect shot consistency. It really pays dividends in longer-distance (60 m) accuracy.
One is regulated with Altaros, at a 145 bar setpoint. The other has an Audrius at 125 bar. Both give around 50J. The Audrius (59 Eur, [email protected]) has the benefit of a large plenum explaining the equal power at a lower setpoint. I suspect Huma has a smaller plenum.
(Of course popping in a reg is not enough -- need to open up the ports to 80% of the caliber, tune the valve spring preload etc. All very easy to do in those flashpups.)
They have the extra advantage of shooting the H&N Grizzly slugs very well. You may wanna check out the BROTHERS IN AIR videos, they are excellent. Good luck!

Be advised HUMA makes 2 different sizes for the Hatsan Flashpup. Buy the correct one otherwise it won't work in your gun.
Yup, the S version has a different cylinder size from the wood version, so the ID varies. So therefore do the dimensions of the reg. Which one do you have ?
The picture below is for the S version, I sent that to Audrius because he is not a man of many words.The ID of the cylinder is 30.5mm -- that drives the diameter of your regulator.
The wood version is different. I believe it has an ID of 26.60mm, just like the most recent version of the Hatsan BT65. Again, that ID drives the diameter of your regulator. Better let the reg vendor know whether you have a wood flashpup or an S, and confirm the dimensions.

Well worth it. Hatsan flashpup .22 wood. She has the .177/.22 Huma reg set to 150bar. 26 shots 900fps with JSB hades.

Sorry, I’m not sure. I would fill 10 bar above the reg setting watch the pressure gauge and speed curve as it fell off the reg. Adjust a half a turn, fill, shoot, etc.
