Hatsan Flash QE

Could try striking butt of gun with hand, rubber mallet or against large book. This method has worked while filling with high pressure air compressor, not so much with hand pump. Guess worth a try, nothing too heavy-handed, just trying to jolt that valve closed. If someone could operate hand pump while you strike the gun butt, who knows? Best of Luck, WM

No one I know with a fill bottle, I did try to rig it up to my home compressor and hit it with 150 psi no luck. And I tried banging the butt on the ground when I had the home compressor hooked up. I do scuba dive and have a couple empty tanks. I will start looking on Amazon for an adapter. I think I’m just going to send the hand pump I got off Amazon back. It was $100, and spend the $139 more to get this Orion pump that looks exactly like the yong heng compressor I’ve seen a lot of videos on.

Sorry for your troubles. When you get it up and running you may find, as I did, that the “QE” system is pretty much a joke. My .22 cal was. VERY loud. There is a guy selling a 3d printed 10 baffle stack that replaces the worthless factory pieces. Works like a charm! Now it is actually a Quiet system.

I've had luck seating a valve poppet with a hand pump by just going to town on it really fast. Just stretch and warm up first so you don't throw your back out. It's great cardio!

Can also put a few drops of silicone oil in the fill probe and pump that in. It needs it anyhow, and it'll coat the valve seal a little bit to make it stick better

Good luck!

Thanks all for your help. I just received my din adapter for my scuba tanks and tried it out. One of my scuba tanks was at about 1.5 bar. I got the leaking to stop and just now and topped it off with the hand pump. Time to see if I can get this scope dialed in. It’s a Veyron 4-16 FFP. Im an old school iron sight Marine. Even the red dot things on my powder burners I had to get used to…lol…my next purchase will be a compressor for sure!

Thanks for the suggestion, I watched a few videos on this. I was also eyeballing a 0DB moderator.
