Hatsan Flash QE .22

It is hard to remember that 4 months back I did not own an air rifle and had not shot one since I was a kid. Now I have become obsessed and possessed. Just before Christmas I fell prey to one of Pyramid Air's holiday 'specials", 15% off on certain PCP's. That put a Hatsan Flash QE at $255.00 so I ordered one in .25. By mistake they sent one in .22, but I decided to keep it anyway. So here am I with a brand new Marauder and a Condor SS thinking what the heck am I doing? I barely have enough time to shoot those two and here I am getting another one because it was cheap. Buyers remorse set in. I decided to put it in the closet and pretend I did not succumb. Finally yesterday I pulled it out and started checking it out. Not only was the rifle inexpensive, but it came with a scope, mounts, 2 magazines and a single shot tray insert. So I am asking myself how good could this rifle be at that cost? Well, I am here to tell you that this rifle is absolutely outstanding and I got the deal if a lifetime. The fit and finish are quite good, simple, but good. The Hatsun 3-9X scope is clear with parallax down to 10 yards. The 12 shot magazines are easy to load and function flawlessly. The trigger is the real surprise, very nice. The manual stated 48 optimal shots on a fill and that was dead on. I put 4 magazines through it on my 10 yard basement range. The photo of the group below is from the last two magazines, so 24 shots. I went down and duplicated the same this morning. Oh yeah, also quiet. This rifle may not be fancy or expensive, but it is a keeper. As a relative newbie I would definitely recommend it for someone just getting into it with a limited budget. Or in fact anyone who just wants a good bang around air rifle
