Hatsan Flash bolt issue

Less than 500 shots and the slots that hold the bolt in position when cocking and firing or rounded off.The bolt pops open when firing unless you hold it down. Anyone else here experience this?

All mine got minimum hammer spring tension power adjuster backed all the way out no issues whatsoever never shot them at high power never need to and it seem best at very low power for best accuracy and ultra smooth cocking excellent trigger when power backed down fantastic guns when power set at bare minimum. No effort to cock nor any blowback. I fill to low pressure under 2400psi MAX too and lotsa shots it's incredible. Highly recommended not to try to max the power.

Yep, soft metal wears down quickly. I use a hair rubber band from the scope turret to the bolt handle to keep it from flipping around. I feel that the natural flow of a bolt action encourages the rear pressure on the bolt as it clears the corner. Had I concentrated on lifting straight up, then pulling back the wear would have been lessened.

Not hating on Hatsan. Just the way it is.

MCoulter, I thought about that on the rear slot but on the front slot, I was worried the bolt would not close all the way unless I moved my barrel back a little.

Yeah, I definitely felt like I was rolling the dice doing this, but it worked out fine. I probably put another 1000+ pellets through it and did not have any further issues. I will say that I was much more aware of (carefully) how I moved the bolt from that point on!
