Tuning Hatsan Flash and Flashpup magazine mod

I know you hate how your Magazine fit in the gun, it's loose and sloppy

well here's how you fix it quick,

get some velcro, 0.05 thick and 3/4" wide, you can use either the hook side or the fuzzy side, cut it to 1/2" in length

use rubbing alcohol to clean the Breech base, and wipe clean and dry,

use Tweezers to stick the velcro to the Breech base, center it, press it down using the tweezers to make it stick good,

test fit the magazine, it should be very snug at first, if it only goes in 3/4 of the way, sand the clear cover front point, bevel it slightly until it fits in all the way,

Done...... No more slop....

here's some pictures to help

I have the Synthetic Flash Pup and yes the magazine has some slop in it and your mod should remove it.

My question is - should it be removed? Did you do the mod just to remove the slop or to help with pellet alignment and accuracy?

Here is the reason I am asking these questions. I have put thousands and thousands of pellets thru my HR Bantam using the single shot tray. The more I use it, removing the tray for barrel cleaning etc., the looser it gets. It seams this slight free play is actually helping the pellets load a little smoother. I have not done any tests to verify this mind you, nothing scientific, just the way it feels.

I was up at the range on Sunday and got tired of the sloppy fit and the magazine falling out occasionally, so when I got home I started looking around the house for something that would solve this problem, I'm sure it is going to work, it does have an alignment slot and if you work it enough it becomes smooth fitting and not overly tight, it fits more like a marauder magazine, and if you don't like it you can remove the Velcro, it's not like it's permanent, I haven't test shot yet for long range accuracy, it does shoot and feed the pellet fine at my 12 yard backyard targets, so far so good.
