Hatsan Fill probe O-RING SIZE?

Why is it so hard to find o-rings for my Hatsan Flash air fill probe. I know there metric & when you do find some there crazy high like $4 each. Hatsan has been out of them 

for a long time also. This is crazy!

I use sae 008 rings on mine without issues with a bottle or compressor. Not sure if a handpump builds pressure fast enough though.

My notes say M2 x 5 (2mm thick, 5mm ID). 

Inch size with the nearest OD is a -009. It has a slightly thinner cross-section so it might seal or it might not. Like Troy said, it may come down to whether you're filling from a tank or a pump.
