Hatsan carnivore .30 accuracy?

Went out today and shot all my pcp's and got to take my hatsan out for the first time. And I was curious. What size groups are yall getting out of your hatsan carnivore. 30? I shot at 20 40 and 60 yards. (It was pretty windy today) My best pellets were jsb 44gr. I tried the predator Polly mags and they didn't want to perform our of my gun and had a tough time getting them to work good in the magazine. Kept wanting to fall back out.

Did you snip the end of the tip off the polymags with nail clippers so they fit the magazine? That's the trick Hunterone does when he use them and they are hole in hole at 50 yards. There are some graphic hunting footage included

Ok I'll try that. Do you know if his gun is tuned or stock?

It's tuned now but I think this video was before it was tuned. If you read the comments he tells Baxter how it will be better after it gets tuned by him (Baxter) and tell another person it's still in stock form.

Wow I wish mine would group like that. Still won't hold a group. I tried snipping the tips and a shot some without the tips. And they shot the same heres a group with them from 60 yards with tips snipped.

Mmmm. I know Southern Gunner do the trick with snipping off the tips and they are very accurate in his 30 cal also. They did not do well with the tips removed. I haven't tried them in my 30 cal yet because I haven't hunted with it.

My Carnivore hates the Polymags and puts out tight groups with the JSB out to 100yds. That's with tuning to a decent curve to get the most shots. Although a QE, it still puts out a bark. That's why I hardly shoot it. Installing an LDC will require floating the barrel since the shroud has to be removed to screw on the LDC. Unless someone show a picture of something different. But overall the Carnivore 30 has been an accurate beast of a gun...with the JSB 44gr so far.

Cleaned my barrel and turned the Hamer spring tensioner in half turn. Heres my group at 80 yards with jsb 50gr. I need to get a chronograph so I can get some more info.

Wow can't complain about accuracy like that from just cleaning the barrel and alittle extra fps!
