Hatsan Hatsan blitz leaks down after charge

Could be debris in the check valve. Are you bleeding the line quickly? Doing it quick helps the valve shut. But if something is stuck in it, it won't help. Hate to say it, but also could just be poor machining of the valve or seal. Something binding up. Poor machining is kind of hatsans MO. At least if you ask me, it is 😬

If I dry fire it 3 times it'll close. But the next time I charge it it's bleeding back off through the hose. I tried bleeding it fast. No change. I run all my air through a molecular siev with cobalt desiccant.

Sounds like it can't seal at full pressure, after a few shots enough pressure is released for one-way valve to seal. Like Long Gun said, debris in system or weakening seals. In your shoes, I'd drain all air from gun per manufacturer instructions, then dismantle one-way valve to inspect/repair. WM

I'll try that next weekend and follow up with results.

If that is the case, that would be very odd due to most valve designs... Generally it would be more likely to not seal with less pressure rather than more. Not saying it isn't possible.... If there is an oring involved, then for sure more likely. I'll take a look at the diagram of the parts.... Ok, so, I did, and unfortunately, I can't ascertain which part is responsible for sealing the gun once it's filled.

Did manage to find this video, so giving it a look now.

So, after giving that a look, I'm about 99% sure part #2349 is an (or, rather, THE) oring that is responsible for sealing the gun after it is filled. May need to replace it and possibly debur and or polish it's seat somehow. Ideally this type of seal or valve would be acetyl (delrin) or something comparable. But I'm willing to bet my neutron star fill valve is going to be almost identical to this. But I havn't ever had to service it.
