Hi , trying to improve accuracy. Think 970 fps is too fast. Is it worth trying heavier pellets?

whats it getting? .. mine does about an inch at 50 .. does slightly better at a reduced fill i think ..

Debating whether to buy one in .22? Think maybe H & N baracudas, 21 grain may give better groups. What pellets are you using? What size group full auto st 50 yards?

id like to know myself if heavy ones are even reliable .. but on a regular basis walmart premeirs, the thing can knock a dent in a 500tin pretty quick lol ... mmm full auto will spread them in a 2" group give or take at 50, rested ...

Well got gun today. After a struggle removed iron sights. Filled. Man that bolt is stiiff to cock first time. Bit of oil. Fired part magazine , ha on auto, of course. That trigger is b..y heavy. Yes ,not like my red wolf. Understand safety implications. Must be 10 lbs plus. Assume not advisable to lighten it.
Seems ok but not Daystate quality. Pouring with rain today. So scope attached, Tomorrow hooefully try it out properly.
Have a range of .22 pellets to try 14.5- 15.9- 17.1 -18.5 = 24 grain
So a bit of testing, lol.
What pellets do you use.? Hoping to get a reasonable group on auto , so can shoot rats etc at 15-30 yards.

just set up gun witj chrono
Wow with 17,4 grains avge 38ft lbs at 993 fps. Think too fast. Tried monster 25.4 grains avge 880 42 ft lbs. Next test sight in scope. Then fire a group semi auto. B…y raining again.
Gun ok bit heavy but that trigger. Think about 10lb pull. Anyway to reduce it?
