I have Hatsans AT's QE in 25 and 30 caliber, how do I clean the bore and if necessary, how do I remove the baffles? I have 25 and 30 caliber cleaning pellets, but another member suggested that I not use them, ( can't remember who, and can't remember why they said I shouldn't). Can I push push a cleaning rod past the baffles or is there more to this procedure? By the way I love these guns, but it's time for some barrel cleaning maintenance. Don't want to disassemble the guns, since they are dead on accuracy wise, unless I have to. Any advice is appreciated. All my other PCP's and springers, I can insert a cleaning rod and swages, or fire 3 or 4 cleaning pellets at one time through them.

AoA suggested i not uze cleanin pelletz because tha felt can get caught n tha mechanism nd cauze problemz, i have the pull thru and uze it on my rifle and it workz great

Yeah, all you gotta do is insert it from the tip of the barrel till it comez out the other end, put patches on it and pull back out

Using a straw is the go for getting past the baffles. A standard drinking straw is the right size for a .22 You should be able to find something close to .25 or .30.

I'd definitely not be using felt in any spring gun. Akin to a dry fire IMO, too light. I also believe clean them when new & leave alone unless a noticeable change happens. There is no fouling or gauling. Alot of the black stuff you see is graphite. Only you know. Do you spend a 1/4 tin rezoroing? If not than clean away.
