Hatsan AT P2 QE Shroud

Has anyone removed the shroud on a Hatsan AT P2 QE ? Is it the same procedure as with the AT44?

I have not. Was considering it on both my QE guns just to clean and inspect them.

I just did and it's the same as AT44. I confirmed what I was suspicious about. I had light pellet clipping on one of the internal metal drums. I got rid of those and now accuracy is great.

Having owned a Hatsan AT44....

Clipping is sometimes caused by a bad barrel crown, and is most cases, a condition which can be "fixed". Sometimes, it takes a whole new barrel to make things right, so if you notice the issue straight away (new gun), it should go back to the seller.
