Would the Hatsan airstripper work as an efficient airstripper inside a full length shroud?

Yes, if you make it adjustable length.
I tried couple scenarios, this where I stopped...

It will be free-floating in the shroud with a baffle, spring and then baffles. Right now I just have the barrel end a 1/2 inch from the first baffle so a lot of air goes through the baffle.

Your setup looks nothing like the airstripper I am referring to, I am referring to the one PA sells.

What I posted earlier was for the Impact shroud,
I made something similar for Leshiy2 barrels so I can mount a spare Impact shroud on it.

I have also several external strippers.

Do you think the Hatsan stripper can handle the Bighorns 85-90 fpe?

I really think the Hatsan stripper is intended for plain barrels without shrouds. The shroud is already playing with the air that would have been diverted from around the pellet. I'd bet you'll see worse performance, not better. But I guess if you already have the parts, why not try?

If the pellet will pass the brass cone, it will handle it.
