Tuning Hatsan 135 .30cal velocity spread?

I shot the .30cal across chrony. Results was anywhere from 440 to 515 fps. It was shooting 520. Haven't shot it in a few months. What might have caused this? Does it need a good cleaning and lubrication? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks AGN in advance!

I have both, carnivore and 135. Now I haven’t run into that issue but I have heard about it from many other people. It could be something simple like bent skirts or something serious like a seal. They also have the ability to be pressured up if you have a Hatsan fill prob. Sounds more like it’s not sealing through the shot cycle down the barrel. Pellets or breech seal. I put silicone oil on my pellets. Try that first.

I'll give that a try. I looked at the seal and it looks ok but it feels like the barrel sticks out past it? Also, how hard is it to remove the shroud? Thanks for the info DLH357
