Anyone using these 48.6 .30 pellets? I picked up a few tins and they are beat to death. Haven’t had the opportunity to try them yet due to the snow and cold weather we are plagued with.

Old version Hatsan pellets were just called Hatsan Vortex, made by H&N and actually shot very well out of a few of my rifles. The new version Vortex Strike pellets are made someplace in Argentina and probably to cut cost. Might well be the same place making Crosman's new line of "Essential" pellets. Essential for what I'm not sure since by all reports, they cost more than CPHP and CPUM do...lol.
While I've heard/read a few people say they shoot ok, they're seem to be outweighed by the ones who say don't waste your money, Hatsan made a huge mistake changing makers.

I buy those for three reasons-
1. When tuning a 30 over a chronograph to get me close so I don’t waste the better ammo
2. To first get me on paper when first setting up a scope, then fine tune with the better ammo
3. Lastly, when someone wants to shoot my LCS SK19 in full auto, the gun gets loaded with the strike pellets.
