Does it make a difference when hitting on a bird, squirrel, rat, rabbit with the Hades than the one made with normal JSB's?

Has anyone tested JSB Hades in .177?

my experience is with all my air rifles in 177 dont shoot to kill wit Hades in 177 ... you will most like miss except if you are very close....

I have had really good luck from an HW100 and a Beeman R9 springer . Mind you I shoot inside 30 yards mostly and haven’t tried them at distance further than that.

I know your question is for the Hades in .177, But in my .22/350 Leshiy 2, the Hades shoot the best of the numerous pellets and slugs I have tried.

I have tried them in nearly a dozen different spring and pcp rifles and they are the most inaccurate pellet I have ever shot. I think it is because they are 4.51 diameter. This is particularly interesting to me as the .22 version is extremely accurate in my Air Arms S410 and Weihrauch HW 80. However they are full bore sized at 5.52.

I haven't been able to find a speed out of any of my barrel/guns(.177 HW 30, Brocock Bantam, and FX Crown 500mm/320mm barrels) that I can get reliable enough accuracy(out to 30 yards) out of the .177 Hades to consider it for use hunting/pesting. Many other jsb and H&N pellets outperform them, especially if there is any wind. That being said, I haven't probably tried EVERY speed possible, but many other pellet choices seemed to perform well at most of the speeds I tested at(7 to 19 FPE).
The .22 Hades seems to be a lot more forgiving and yields good accuracy at most speeds out of most of my .22 barrels/guns.

I wasn't happy with Hades group when shooting them @18fpe out of my Red Wolf. The JSB and AA 10.3 were better groups and more consistent. I like to know the pellet is going to go where I aim either hunting or targets.

Yes, Hades or Baracuda Hunter Extreme much higher on the thwack scale vs. diabolo. My impact in .177 500mm does well with Baracuda hunter extreme, terrible with Hades. I had a .30 cal barrel (briefly) and it loved the Hades out to 50'.
HW50s also .177 is OK with Hades up to 30'.

I get nickel sized groups at 40 yards with my HW100 BP-K, but they open up considerably at 50 yards. How they perform on game I couldn't say, Polymag Shorts shoot dime size groups at 50 yards so they are my go to pellet for critters.

Hades 177 shoots great out of all my 177 guns and have taken many good sized tree rats with mere 600FPS out to 30 yards.

My daystate revere hates the 177 hades at 35 yards 1.5" group if i am lucky now my dream tac 22 cal 320mm barrel loves hades

It is clear that I will have to get a tin and test performance out of my Renegade.
Fortunately the rifle shots perfectly the JSB 8.4 grain that are the one's that I bought some years ago and I have enoght of them.

They are very accurate in my 12 fpe Air Arms s510.But my Taipan Veteran std doesn't like them.
