I apologize if this has been mentioned already, but was news to me...

I was poking around YouTube today and I got a video from this channel in my feed. Wow! I wish I knew what Matt & FX did to set him off. Don't get me wrong - most of the YouTube airgun world is sponsored and basically glorified advertising these days... but dang! Some of the more recent rants seem a bit conspiracy-like to me but it's an interesting watch if you want a little YouTube drama in your life.

Matt Dubber's Airgun 101 series, all by itself, is the best all-in-one learning resource ever produced by an Airgunner and if Matt did nothing else, this contribution (and his opinions) would be worth more to the airgunning community than this guy's criticisms, ten fold.

This channel was talked about on AGN quite a bit when it first hit, not much of an "impact" since.

His on-camera style and personal attacks diminished any point he was trying to make, to me.

Seems his mission in life is proving respected airgun companies & shooters to be liars. Feel sorry for the poor guy's miserable life. Notice his astronomically high subscription count? That tells you something.

1shot1kill56 is he new members name here. He seems to have stopped posting lately. Mostly because everyone started ignoring him. hes a moron who’s going to get someone killed with his air gun mods. Bragging about filling a gun to 4500psi when it’s only rated at 3000.

I loved the "huben k1, 268 yds, 3 slugs in same HOLE"! The said HOLE was a 6" hole in a mud bank, not the same hole in a target. WTF?

I don't like his manner of negativity BUT there is some empirical merit in some of his videos. Like pushing a pellet or slug down the bore of a FX barrel and measuring crown and leade differences on several FX barrels. Tight spots and free fall while pushing is empirical evidence. FX advertises ALL barrels are the same tolerances. This test by him proved that the barrels were poor. According to him the majority of tested barrels were poor. According to him, many owners have requested replacement barrels. He is a advocate of Lother Walther poly barrels and suggests and shoots chinese polished barrels with excellent results.

Does not this mean some of his videos have merit regardless of his abrasive personal style and attacks of other U-Tube guys.

While I understand you might think some of what he says has merit, why is it that so many fx barrels shoot so darn well if their tolerances are so bad? In all the fx guns I’ve owned, I’ve never had a bad barrel in any of them. Now that’s not today fx guns don’t have their quirks, but I fail to see where their barrels are less quality than those of lothar walther,cz,bsa or any other high end barrel company!
