Has anybody tried the leapers 2x16x44 scope

I have a Leapers 6x24x 50 that has been a 22 cal. Marauder for 3 or 4 years that still holding it zero. It is clear and have not had any problems with it. I know it is not the 2x16x44 but didn't know what you were looking for about the scope.

I have a 2-16X44 Leapers. I bought it because it was compact and would fit nicely on my R7. The reticle is very good, but the optics are not as clear as I would like. To me, it's not worth the price they are selling it for. For $300, I would get an Optisan Viper 4-16X50. It is longer than the Leapers if size is an issue. You might look at the Mamba Lite or some of the new Hawke scopes look good. It will be hard to stay under $300 though. If length is not a consideration, look at the Mueller scopes. Their optics are fantastic for sub $300 scopes. I have a 4-14 APT and a 8-32X44 and am very happy with them.
