How is the pluck out foam quality vs say a Pelican case foam? Some foam seems to be abrasive in cheaper cases to me.

I recently bought the pelican-style and cut it myself, I would go that route if you can, the foam is very dense and holds the rifle securely. I bought an electric carving knife for 15 bucks to cut foam and it was totally worth it



Did you see the Boyt double rifle case on amazon for $130? same price as midway but free shipping.

No but I will give it a look. I like the solid foam option far better too.

Thanks all for the input. I decided to go with a Pelican Vault 730 case. I got it for just a little more than the Boyt.
