Hard life for my cricket ll

Sitting here in the woods waiting for movement and enjoying the fresh snow scenery and realized my new cricket ll .25 has had a rough life for last month. Been in the woods with me every weekend since I got it and the weather hasn’t been the most pleasant. Rain and snow are working together to make me clean it every night when I get in from hunting. I didn’t seem to think about it as much when carrying a marauder or bulldog. Part of the fun I guess.

It's nice to see a gun getting used like it's intended! 

Seems like all you see these days is guns sitting on a bench locked into a rest with a chronograph in front of them.

My thoughts exactly. Bought it for a specific purpose and will continue to use it for that purpose no matter the conditions. I guess I have always been the guy that gets his shoes dirty the first time out in them. I do like the slicker idea, never seen anything like that. Could be useful to keep the scope cleaner/drier in between shots. Thanks for the link
