Hard Gun Case for Air Wolf with Hawke 8-32x54 and Parallax Wheel?

I'm looking for a hard case for a new-to-me Air Wolf. The case is for storage and transport (may need to add some dessicant?) The rifle is set up for FT with a big scope and parallax ring. I bought a top-opening Plano, but it is not tall enough even when I remove the parallax ring (the top closes but I can't close the center clasp).

I've found some large cases that could hold the Air Wolf and my P-Rod carbine, but at ~$400 I've resisted temptation.

Suggestions?

There are some heavy duty, waterproof Pelican cases that are super. They can be a bit pricey, but nowhere near $400. They sell them here in a store in town for $213 for a rifle sized case. There are some other companies making knock offs of the Pelican for even less than $213 and they're high quality products. Most of the cases I'm talking about are fully waterproof, crushproof, have a purge valve and are deeper than the cheaply made Plano or Flambeau cases. Stoti

Damn, that's a nice looking case. I guess I can pull the moderator off the Red Wolf so it fits a smaller case, and one for the Bantam as well.

I have a Pelican 1750 for my Crown. I found it on Amazon for $200ish 

It's long enough for your moderator and has space for just about anything else you may need.

It is heavy, at least for me, but I feel my rifle is very safe.

1700 is the smallest in the line up, at 33 inches the 25 Cricket with a 4 inch side wheel fits like a glove. The 1750 is the longest w/o going into the double cases. Your putting a couple of grand in the back seat. Hit the brakes hard, or get into an accident the extra few bucks you spend on a good case is appreciated.

My favorite cases are the Boyt hard cases. I really like the latches on them. I have 3 different sizes and the 2 larger ones are pretty deep. I think they run $130 - $250 depending on size.

Thanks folks. The Pelican looks nice, as does the double Plano. The Air Wolf is just under 41" long, and it's just under 11" tall with the scope and wheel. I'll check them out and see if I can find one that fits.

Well the Pelican 1720 (42" long) with cut-to-fit foam is $260 on Amazon. The 1750 (50" long) with "pick and pluck" foam is only $10 more. The Plano is looking pretty attractive.

I ended up with the Plano knock-off of the Pelican. I went with 42", which has 43" interior length, and is a pretty good fit for the Air Wolf. Thanks for your inputs.
