Happy to get back an old friend.

Roughly 13 or so years ago, I was given an Older English made BSA Super Sport. My wife's grandfather gave it to me and it was my first quality airgun. He had a firearms gun shop and was also a very talented gunsmith. Because of him, I am addicted to airguns and gunsmithing both firearms and airguns.

I had loaned my BSA to my cousin a couple of years ago after he suffered a stroke. Thought it would give him something to do other than sit around. He shot it alot at first, but soon lost interest. My 2 oldest kids were at Grandma's today, so my wife, the baby, and I went out for a drive. We stopped at my cousins and picked up the BSA and his C9A that is in desperate need of a rebuild.

I had forgotten how much I love the BSA!! After Lubing and tightening everything up, I dialed her in and proceeded to shoot a couple hundred pellets. 10 shots over the chrony and she still shoots around 850 - 860fps with 7.9 premiers. Even killed a starling and a hosp.

Now, I have the C9A tore down and waiting on a rebuild kit from Mac1.

After spending the afternoon getting to know my old BSA again, I have her dialed. We have had a horrible squirrel problem this year. I have been picking off pest squirrels here and there all spring. A grey that I ran out of my garden thought he was safe in the distance. 63 lasered yards I put a 7.9gr Crosman Premier thru his brain box!! Did I say I love this gun??
