Nice grouping you comrades have. So many tack driving tacts . "Happy Tacticool Sunday" , Love it. Ok, here is mine , " Its Practical to be Tactical" ..LOL
I have been super busy with my boys sports...Both are playing basketball, my youngest is also on an indoor soccer team and both of them are on the school's trap team. Busy, busy, busy! I haven't been around much but hope you area all doing well in 2020!
My contribution. all black now. Neee a new pic. LOL
She is a tack driver for sure. First test with a barrel I installed from a Brownell's bbl. liner wrapped in two thick walled CF tubing. One more to go. .223 NOE CC1 mold, cast here and shooting at .2213 sized down . 80 yards, a 60 shot group, off hand as a visit from Author made shooting with my shooting hand difficult for a few days. Head wind, 8-12 mph. A couple fo fliers. Not use to the trigger with the off hand. LOL.
While waiting o the current new generation trigger and hammer, I plunge milled the face of the hammer in order to back the striker below the surface of the hammer in order to both increase the throw and quiet it down a bit. Doing so, it gained over 50 fps higher than the hammer spring maxed out. It is now only half in. It is slinging my 29 gr slugs at 1005 and the 39 grain slugs at 920's now. Much quieter, and much more more accurate with the 29 gr's which were erratic in the low 900's.The 39 griners seem like they don't care. Just flat tack drivers. LOL. they only achieved850's in the Evanix Rainstorm II with Hot jRodded valve, ports and double hammer springs ans weighted hammer. The little Raptor Mini is a Little Monster! Travis said it was. LOL! It was his personal gun, the Prototype. So a few things will have to be upgraded to bring it into current spec. ;<)
I see. I was asking because for some reason I was under the impression that the stock moderator was “permanently” attached? I shot it at EBR and the thing Barked!
