Happy New Year from Alaska! We still have way too much of 2020 left to put behind us, but in a little less than 6 hours hindsight will finally be..... 2020!

There's no need to wait till the 'New Year' to wish others a Happy New Year. (when it arrives). People start wishing others a Merry Christmas (and decorating) just after Thanksgiving.
Besides the New Year is 'time zone' related. We on the East coast get the 'New Year' sooner than those on the West coast.
Besides the odds of my staying awake till midnight is usually slim.
