Oh my goodness, so many expectant men looking under the tree to see if their favorite airgun is there in the morning. Like little children, bright eyed, bushy tailed, big drooling smiles on their faces in the hope that St Nicholas hasn't forgotten their favorite pastime and pleasure. My hope is that each and everyone of you will experience that heart warming feeling that gushes over you as you hold the object of your desire.

Please take a moment to remember the truly majestic reason why we celebrate this time of year and who it is that we honor by doing so … Messiah Yeshua. Pray for our country and this world, those in need whether financially, materially, spiritually, health problems. Remember those who are alone, aged and in need of a friend or just someone to talk to. Pray for peace and a reconciliation between all people.

It has been a year of many blessings for a lot of us, we have prospered, we have dreamed dreams and seen them come true … but there have been losses also, things and people we can't replace. Remember them, keep them close to your heart, never forget that a large part of who we are as a people and as a person were shaped and formed by knowing these wonderful souls who made us part of their lives while we had them near.

There is always a bitter/sweet moment that comes with this time of year, but such is life for though we like to think we are strong and the masters of our own fate, reality says otherwise … we are indeed fragile and we are only here for a short time. Make the most of each passing moment to share a smile, give a hug, encourage someone going through a rough time … don't be afraid to share your humanity with your brothers and sisters.

Love, Live and Laugh

It's a short pony ride

Shalom berakhah vetovah
