Couple things. It’s very important that liquid water not get onto the dessicant beads, they get very hot and caustic, which can corrode your filter/drier container. It should also be vertical with the air entering the bottom, going through the cigarette filter first and then the mollecular sieve beads. Note: the beads need to be confined. They should not be loose inside the filter where they are free to fly around. If they’re loose, “channeling” could occur and air not get dehumidified as it should. And... be sure to drain any liquid water after each pumping session. I don’t know how long that volume of beads are good for. In the scuba bussines our driers were rated for a certain number of cubic feet of air or six months. Store any replacement beads in a very air tight container. Hope this helps.
