I never had this trouble before...Benjamin hand pump...Marauder...won't go past 2000 psi...pump handle will no longer go all the way down. I'm new to this...love it...any help appreciated!

Not trying to sound too obvious with this, but did you try pushing harder? I find for me who weights 155 that I like to almost jump on it. I have a completely different method than most people because I also stand on it with one foot and then "jump" on it sideways.

I was afraid I would damage something! ...I had only pumped up my Maximus to 2000 psi...maybe I'm just not used to the added pressure past that?

You need to do the whole motion all at once too. If you stop halfway then it will be much more difficult. I can't speak for your exact pump, but on my FX pump if you go slowly then you won't get anywhere.
