I'm kinda down on JSB ammo right now. The lots are so poor and head sizes all over the place. I suspect they don't care about quality any more. H&N are marginally better in consistency if your barrel likes it. I'm shooting QYS match distributed by Predator right now. It's pretty cheap and very good consistency — better than JSB match stuff.

I’ve seen similar myself. I’m kind of moving towards slugs for this reason. They seem to be more consistent right now.
You know…….I think we’re on to something here……didn’t FX say the new slugs will make pellets obsolete? Maybe not from better accuracy, maybe because pellets are slowly becoming less uniform, and therefore less accurate. Maybe, just maybe, FX is buying out jsb and slowly killing pellets for good 😱😱😱


And now back to our normal programming 😂🤣🤪

i like the fx pellets better they seem more uniform

Yup I only use slugs on the AGT .and cast bullets on the airforce..no more pellets for me for the same lack of quality..of the pellets..

If FX is making these Halo's in house then it'll be a decent money maker for them. Ha, if I owned FX I might be tempted to put this slogan "Makes pellets obsolete" out there too. After all FX does have marketing strategy as a strong point.

Right now it looks like their pellets are just rebranded JSB's but possibly made to FX specs??? I can't tell a difference as pellets all seem lot number dependent if from the same manufacturer.

I won't hold it against them if the Halo's work well and we can get them cheaper than pellets.
