I had to make an emmergency trip to Phoenix but manage to find time to visit AOA. I actually got to touch and shoulder a Wildcat, Bobcat, Verminator Extreme, and the raved Impact. What a thrill! Larry Piercy was wonderful to talk with and really made me feel welcome.. Phone was ringing off the hook. I darn near walked out with a Bobcat. Being left- handed, I was very concerned about the lever action. Although the lever on the Bobcat was a little awkward it had a GREAT feel to shoulder. I could deal with that minor issue. I thought the .30 caliber would have felt heavier but surprising well balanced and easy to shoulder! The lever on the Wildcat was great but I liked the feel of the Bobcat better. One rifle that lefties should consider is the Verminator or the Verminator Extreme, I really like the feel of the gun and the lever was in an ideal postion. It did not feel too heavy like the Gladiator did. The Verminator Extreme will be mine one day! I like the lever on the right side. Not having the cheek rest did not seem to bother me on any of the rifles. The Impact was amazing. Got to hold the all the black verson. I had to wipe my chin after seeing this in person. I also had the opportunity to check out the Daystate Wolverine. After shouldering these rifles I had to leave as I was overstimulated! LOL, It really was treat for me!
Thanks again Larry,
Doc
