FX Hallo Friends- i want to convert my .30 DL to .22 cal- what do i need to buy?

Hi guys- my friends in polen have cherry plantations that are plagued with starlings and invited me to come and shoot them all up..

but my .30cal is just too big for the job and i decided to get the .22 swap kit but not sure what i need to change the cal?

in my .30cal i already have modified the hammer weight and spring so that would need to be swapped for a lighter hammer and spring?

what else- barrel complete? probe? am i missing something..

Barrel assembly, probe, magazine, hammer weight and probably spring. I am not very familiar of the Dreamline so take my list with a grain of salt.

just a thought however.

were it me, and if you could afford it, i would probably just go and purchase another rifle in the caliber you prefer, that way you always have a spare. there are a lot of sales going on right now.

Is it a safety issue with the 30 ? Yes no need for 30 with starlings but the cost and time of the swap will buy quite a few tins of 30 pellets. Can always detune the 30 quite a bit.

its not a safety issue- i just thought the .30cal is way too big for starlings.. i get 40 shots on my 700cc bottle and they have thousands of starlings there eating up the cherries..

Yeah those were just my thoughts. The cost of the components will buy quite a bit of ammo . The pop from the 30 hitting those birds will be just oh so awesome.
