Hades - first glimpse

Winds at + 20 mph here in Indiana today so it is not conducive to pellet testing. Two tins of 500 Hades .22 pellets arrived from PA yesterday.

The pellets appear to be very uniform and well packaged.

As a first step, I shot two shot groups through the chronograph using my unregulated AA S-510 at full power on my indoor 18 yard range. While certainly not representative of the very best groups I have shot over the years with this extremely accurate rifle, the groups were respectable. As soon as the weather conditions are agreeable, I will shoot some 50 yard and (perhaps beyond) and report back, including comparison groups of other pellets at the same range with the same rifle, fully understanding that no two rifles will ever shoot the same with the same pellets

Yes, indeed, I noticed they definitely are very uniform. Maybe because they are new dyes? Good shooting! Can’t wait to see 50 yarders as I don’t have that luxury here.

I shot a pigeon at 37 yards tonight with the hades and there was no pass through! The pigeon dropped like a stone!

I just received four tins of Hades today. Should be fun, if everything I have been hearing about them is true.

My son shot a squirrel in the side if the head at 30 yds with no pass through (900fps at the muzzle). I still want to see them in 21 or 22 grain... id like to see them in every weight and caliber.

Finally the wind was calm this morning, was hitting a one inch spinner at 94 no problem. I was a little disappointed with a BC of .0193

At 50 yards the 22 cal Hades pellets hit 1 in lower than JSB 22 cal pellets of the same weight.
