Bought this little .22 Cricket from Charlie Frear a few months back. He had extended the air tube and it made the shroud come up a little short stroked ;-)



So I contacted Neil Clague and told him what I needed to make her look a little more well proportioned ;-)
And now she looks like this! He took my original Shroud and lengthened it for me. Looks like a brand new shroud but it isn't. It's magic I tell ya ;-)



Yeah I got a little scratch on the air tube. Really shows in this pic below? Oh well she ain't a safe queen, that's for sure but she's a shooter.





Shot this at 28 yds off bipod and rear bag. Gonna take me a while to get steady with the pup, but I think she can hold her own ;-)

Have you tried using your Cricket without a bipod?

I rest on the large flat underside of the bull stock forearm and it really feels very stable like that. I find it much more stable than any of the bipods I have owned. It's not the nicest looking stock but it's very well designed for stable shooting imo. 

If you haven't already, give it a try and see what you think. It's not weighted like a rifle so I never felt right using it with a bipod like a rifle. 

I saw someone with an odd-looking bipod for his Tavor that connected to the bottom of the pistol grip. That made sense to me because that's where the weignt is balanced. A traditional rifle is front heavy so all the weight is on top of the bipod at the front which makes it stable. You don't have that on a bullpup usually...

I'm addicted to those bipods. Love em. I gotta tack driver bag, but it's just something else to drag along, plus I would have take the rail adapter off to make it lay flat on the bag. Got those bipods on 4 of my 5 guns right now. I'm plenty happy with those groups.

Nice rifle !!! I just called AOA to order something like that,, they say it has to be special ord,, and they don't know how much it might cost..can you tell me how you got yours ,how much money you pay for it and how many shoots you can get from one fill

Being lefty,I feel a little left out of the Bullpup craze. Love the looks but don't like how they feel. I have shouldered the Cricket and now the Edgun and the cocking lever and bolt are just odd for me on the right side. SUCKS! Had high hopes for the Galahad and Pulsar in the .25 but no power. I may still end up with a Pulsar or Renegade but in .22.

If it's working for you then no point in changing anything. I guess it's easier for me as I have a bunch of Cricket stocks for different occasions.

The Mutant cocking lever can be switched to the other side. Same with the Vulcan

That looks so much better, Neil is the man. I plan to have Charlie do that power tune to my .25 real soon.
