H&N Hornets in the Gamo Urban

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that my Gamo Urban really likes these H&N Hornets. I bought some to give a try for squirrel hunting. Once I sighted the scope in to the new pellet (I have been hunting with the JSB 18.1) I stacked 5 in the same hole right at the bullseye at 30 yds. Just to make sure, I put up a new target and got this with the next five. If you have an Urban, they are worth looking at for hunting.

I can definitely see these for raccoon headshots. But too pricey for squirrels. Any dome will do. Birds? Way to much penetration. They have a definite purpose. Just not all around pesting. IMHO

Very possibly true. I hunt squirrels and rabbits during small game, but much of WMAs I hunt are south Georgia bottom land bordering on being swamps. In these, I run across a lot of wild hogs. In fact, it seems like when I go hog and deer hunting I see squirrels and rabbits (which I am not wasting $15 crossbow bolt / broadhead combination on), but when I go squirrel hunting I see hogs. Last year, I was able to take a 27 lb piglet at just under 20 yds with the Urban and a JSB 18.1 with a head shot centered just above the eyes. I got the Hornets in the hopes they would punch through the skulls of slightly larger hogs and I would have more opportunities to take an ethical shot.

However, in the ballistic gel tests I watched by Expert Airgun Reviews, the Hornet had less penetration than the Terminator (which is all lead), but created a larger wound channel. They seem to penetrate and them dump their energy quickly.
