GX-E-5K1 Compressor issues

@LW737, did you already clear out air bubbles? Turn on the fan and water pump, then gently lift the rear up to about 30 degrees. Then put it down and do the same with the front. Then check the fluid window again. It's helpful to do this with the cover removed, as you can see bubbles and fluid moving through the tubes.

I thought my water pump was broken until I remembered to do this during initial setup. That "fixed" it for me.
I appreciate the suggestion, but yeah, I tried that as well. Cover was removed to check wiring/connectors, and anything else that would look suspicious. Couldn't find anything obvious.

I'm willing to bet it's air in the lines. Please try that (again?) before returning it!
Just went downstairs and tried it again. No change. The fan that sits above the compressor motor (adjacent to the coolant reservoir) comes on and runs for about 2 seconds, then shuts down. It cycles like this continually. There are no bubbles in the lines - I've checked them all and see nothing. Thanks for your suggestions. Maybe it's time to change continents and try my luck with a Hill compressor after I get the refund for this one.
