GX CS4 Pressure Problem

It actually prevents moisture condensation in cylinder as it cools. Running no load is good practice if the compressor will sit idle for more than a day. Otherwise you will have moisture in the cylinder and it will rust.
I'm pretty sure there is nothing to rust inside the cylinder of a CS4/CS4i.

My CS4 was working fine last time I used it about a year and a half ago, has maybe 6 hours on it. I just fired it up again after changing the coolant and cleaning the check valve. It's getting to about 200 bar and stalling out. If i don't hit the off button in time it's shutting off the 12V power supply as well. After I release the pressure and plug the remote power supply back in it runs fine again until 200 bar. I thought maybe it's overheating but the water flow looks good and the fan is on while it's running. any ideas? thanks, Rich

A friend had a similar problem with his CS4-i. GX first sent a replacement power supply but the problem persisted. GX then sent a replacement internal circuit board and now all is good.
