GX CS4-I compressor

My new compressor arrived today, GX CS4-I, and in typical Chinese fashion the manual does not state the amount of distilled water to fill the unit. I have filled the reservoir and started the water pump adding additional water as needed to bring the unit up to the stated fill line but I would like to know the total amount of water necessary. Knowing the volume required will help me calculate the amount of Water Wetter to add. Thanks in advance.

Don’t quote me but for some reason 500 ml rings a bell. Also have you seen the vids showing to tilt the compressor with water pump running to bleed out air ? Removing any potential air pockets increases it’s cooling capability.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have watched the videos but thought something was off within my water system because it did not seem to take much water to fill - thought it would take more. Oh well, it seems to be running well. Dead head test was fast, filling my first rifle went quickly, quietly and without any real heat being pushed out by the fans.

I seen a video where someone said the cooling system has a flaw. Both the inlet and outlet hoses are on the bottom of the radiator so there is a big air bubble that cant get out. The fix is removing the radiator and re mount it on its side. Have the top hose the return to resivoir. They say it runs a lot cooler now that the entire radiator is working . I did this to mine. Only need a screwdriver to remove cover and radiator mounting screws. No modifying anything .Super easy and quick to do.
