Good morning.
If you have a CS4, would you please post the nameplate data for the external power supply.
Thanks

I hate to tell ya but it wont live long it's gotta be 13v and 50amp time will tell GX pump will send you a rerplcementThank you both. This is exactly what I need.
A friend bought a new CS4-i that was delivered with a faulty internal power supply. GX is supposed to send him a replacement but....
His compressor works just fine from a car battery. So, I'm going to recommend that he buy an inexpensive 600 watt power supply from Amazon to use while he waits for the replacement internal supply to arrive.

Why I opted for the regular cs4. Just less of a hassle. If the converter dies just throw it away and get another off Amazon. No messing around inside the machine itself. To me the simple idea of having it incorporated inside is a minute convenience not worth the price hike.Success. My friend purchased a 600 watt 12 volt generic power supply and hooked it up to his disabled CS4-i.
The pump works like a champ!
I bought one of these to serve as a backup in the event of power supply failure in my CS4-i.

You beat me to it. I had planned to ask if any of the forum members would please measure and post the the output (under load) voltage of their CS4 external power supplies. As per the other related thread right now (https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/cs4-power-supply.1331387/post-1957203) you may want to measure the output of your internal supply, and adjust your new external supply to the same voltage. You will have to measure & adjust each while they're connected to & running the compressor.
