GX CS4 compressor grease pot

I measured the thickness of the messed up one I had and ordered the same thickness black rubber sheet from amazon. Then you just put the rubber on a flat surface, put the grease pot on top on the rubber and smack it with a rubber mallet. The cookie cutter method gives a perfect replacement piece. Then take a tiny drill bit or heated large sewing needle and make the center hole. Works just fine and lots of rubber to do it again if I have to. Plus it's cheaper than buying the part from GX. Make sure the screw is fully into the pot by screwing it clockwise to keep the little screw from being hurt by the mallet. You can also just put the grease pot on top of the rubber and twist it until it starts to leave a cut in the rubber and just cut it out following the cut you made with either a exacto or scissors.
