Picked up this compressor about a month ago. Noticed talks of filters to do away w/ potential water before filling my gun or tank. Is this something I should be concerned with, with this compressor? Thx Nation!

That pump had an internal water separator. When you bleed off the pressure to remove the gun from the fill hose, you get a tiny bit of moisture out of the bottom tube.
You can always add another filter if you want, but there is a point of diminishing returns and extra work for the pump to fill that filter volume to the workinng pressure.
If you live in a deep humidity area, it may help. I live in the desert, so I don't bother with that

I have a CS3 being delivered in two days! I’m going to add a filter with dessicant beads. I live in Georgia, and have pretty high humidity sometimes. The filter was $17.79 and the beads were $16.99 for a quart of them.
