My first GS CS2 failed after about 3.3 years of hard usage.
So I plugged in my backup CS2 compressor (never used!) only to discover it also had a problem.
My burst disc was broken, on a new CS2.
In the above image, I believe the metal thing with the hole in it is the burst disc. The thing on the right is a little hard to identify, but it was between the burst disc and the "explosion-proof nut" (25) listed in the parts diagram.
As you can see, there is nothing that's supposed to be there. It appears to be made of foam, so perhaps there was some foam item in (18) that got shot up here, through the line when the disc burst? Hard to say.
For now I'll put the burst disc from my old pump into the new one. . . yeah, that seems to be working.
Where do you get parts for the GX CS2?
